Questions about our Madeira day tours
Everything you need to know before choosing your private island tour.
Yes, every tour listed here is 100% private. You won't be mixed with other travellers — it's just your group, your English-speaking guide and a comfortable vehicle. The itinerary can be adjusted on the day to match your interests.
Of course. Many guests want to mix highlights from different day tours into one tailor-made route. Just let me know what you'd like to see — Pico do Areeiro, Porto Moniz, Santana, Levadas — and I'll build a single Madeira island tour that fits your schedule.
Pickup is included from any hotel or accommodation across Madeira, including Funchal, Caniço, Calheta and the north coast. Cruise passengers are collected directly at the Funchal cruise terminal.
Prices are per tour, not per person. A private day tour costs the same whether you're two people or six, which makes it excellent value for families or small groups of friends travelling together.
Madeira's microclimates mean one side of the island can be sunny while the other is cloudy. Because these are private tours, I can adjust the route in real time to chase the best conditions — something group tours simply can't do.
